Writing, editing and text analysis
Word and character counters, text comparison, case conversion, Markdown preview and reading-time estimates can help during drafting. They are supporting tools, not editors: meaning, sources, tone and final presentation still need human review.
A platform may count emoji, links and formatting differently. Check the final copy in the destination application before publishing. A useful workflow is to compare a draft, revise its structure and then check length against the relevant limit.
Use each helper for one editing step: enter the copy, inspect the output and compare it with the draft. Keep a copy before applying changes to a long text. If counts differ from the destination platform, follow that platform’s handling of links, emoji and formatting. Before publishing, review spelling, attribution and the final appearance in the destination interface. This gives you a final check before copy is pasted into a public post, help article or product page.
