Text Scrambler and Letter Shuffler
Shuffle the character units in a short text string. The result can change each time and is not encryption or privacy protection.
This guide and page information are in English. Some controls inside the interactive tool currently appear in Turkish.
This tool processes its main input in your browser and does not send it to an external API. Fonts and interface assets may load from external providers.
Text Scrambler and Letter Shuffler
The text scrambler randomly reorders the character units in its input field. It can create a rough shuffled string for a mockup or a basic classroom example, but the result may lose word order, punctuation placement and readability.
This is not a password generator, anonymizer or cryptographic method: it does not conceal the original content. The implementation splits JavaScript strings into UTF-16 units, so emoji and combined graphemes may be separated.
When is it useful?
- Showing a short randomized string in a game or design mockup.
- Demonstrating a simple character-shuffling algorithm.
How to use it
- Enter a short text string.
- Choose Shuffle Letters and review the resulting order.
- Run it again for another random ordering; inspect emoji and combined characters before using them.
Example
Input: Yula
Output: aYul (one possible permutation; each run can differ)
Who is it for?
- Students learning basic algorithms
- Designers preparing a short text placeholder
- People exploring random character order
Privacy and limitations
The shuffle runs with JavaScript in the browser and the input is not sent to an API. The output remains plain, recoverable text and must not be used to hide sensitive information.
Frequently asked questions
Will each click produce a different result?
The order is randomized, but a short string can produce the same ordering again. The tool does not promise a unique result.
Does shuffling securely hide my text?
No. Shuffling is not encryption; someone may be able to reconstruct the original. Do not use this tool for privacy or password security.
Are emoji preserved as one character?
The code splits strings into JavaScript UTF-16 units, so an emoji or combined grapheme can be separated into unexpected pieces.
Is my text uploaded?
Shuffling takes place in the browser and the input is not sent to an API by this tool. The shuffled output is still ordinary text and may remain sensitive.
