CSS, color and interface prototyping
Explore color conversion and palettes, CSS gradients, shadows, responsive measurements and interface helpers. They can accelerate an initial prototype; adapt generated values to your design tokens and confirm that target browsers support the properties you plan to use.
Color choice is more than visual harmony. Test text contrast, focus states, small screens and different user needs. A generator provides a starting point; inspect the finished component on real devices and in the browsers you support.
Match generated CSS and color values to your design tokens and accessibility rules. A palette alone does not prove adequate contrast; review normal text, large text and interactive states separately. Preview measurements and gradients on both narrow and wide screens before shipping. Make sure keyboard focus and error states remain understandable without relying on color alone. Recheck these decisions in the component’s actual layout and supported browsers, with realistic content.
