Wi-Fi QR Code Generator

A Wi-Fi QR code carries a network name and security details in a scannable image. It can make guest access easier than typing a long password.

People who can scan the code may gain network access. A separate guest network and limited sharing help make that access more deliberate.

How to use it

  1. Enter the SSID and security type exactly as configured.
  2. Add the password and review the preview.
  3. Test the code and share it only with the intended guests.

Example

Input: SSID: Guest-Network · Security: WPA/WPA2

Output: A scannable Wi-Fi QR image; the network password is embedded in the payload.

Who is it for?

  • Home network owners
  • Cafes and event venues
  • Small businesses sharing guest access

Privacy and limitations

The QR payload is prepared in the browser and is not sent to a Yula API. Anyone who sees the exported image may read the connection details.

Frequently asked questions

Does a QR code hide my Wi-Fi password?

No. A person who scans it can use the encoded connection details. Share it as you would share network access.

Is the SSID case-sensitive?

Enter the network name exactly as configured. A typo can prevent devices from connecting.

Should I use a guest network?

A guest network can separate visitor access from your primary devices when your router supports it.

Are network details sent to a server during generation?

Generation runs in the browser, but you are responsible for sharing the exported image that contains the password.
