Free QR Code Generator for Links, Wi-Fi & vCards

This free online QR code generator turns a link, Wi-Fi connection details or a vCard into a square pattern that a phone camera can read. A QR code does not verify that its destination is trustworthy.

Create a code for a menu, poster, presentation or contact card and download it as a PNG. A URL code contains the destination you entered; if that address changes later, generate a replacement and test the new proof.

URL, Wi-Fi and vCard QR codes

The URL option writes the link you enter into the code; it does not check whether the destination works or is safe. The Wi-Fi option embeds the network name, security selection and, when needed, its password. The vCard option carries the name, phone and email fields available in this tool. Treat the exported image as a deliberate way of sharing everything encoded in it.

This generator creates static QR codes

The tool encodes your selected content directly in the QR pattern. It does not add a Yula redirect URL or scan analytics. That keeps the code independent of a Yula redirect service, but it also means you cannot change the destination of an already printed code. Check a long-term URL before printing; create and retest a new code if the destination changes.

Choose a PNG size for the intended use

Choose 256 pixels for small digital uses, 512 pixels for a sharper on-screen image, or 1024 pixels when a larger image is needed. Resolution alone cannot guarantee a successful scan: code density, contrast, print quality and scan distance matter too. Print a proof at its intended size and scan it with more than one phone before distributing it.

How to use it

  1. Choose URL, Wi-Fi or vCard.
  2. Enter only the details you intend to share and review the preview.
  3. Download the image and scan it with a second device before publishing.

Frequently asked questions

Is this QR code generator free?

Yes. You can create a URL, Wi-Fi or vCard QR code and download a PNG without paying to use this tool.

What can I encode?

This page offers URL, Wi-Fi and vCard formats. The fields shown depend on the selected format.

Does a QR code make a link safe?

No. A QR code carries data but does not verify its destination. Check the domain before opening a scanned link.

Can someone read the Wi-Fi password?

The password is part of the QR payload and can be used by people who can scan it. Share the code only with people you intend to give access.

What size should I print?

You can export a 256, 512 or 1024-pixel PNG. Test a proof at the intended size because density, print quality and scan distance affect readability.
