What Is My Public IP? Browser Details
Check your public IP, browser, screen size and language. The public IP lookup goes to ipify; local browser details stay on your device.
This tool requests your public IP address from api.ipify.org. The provider’s data practices are outside Yula Studios’ control.
What Is My Public IP? Browser Details
This page shows the public IP address seen by api.ipify.org, plus browser name, screen dimensions and language read by the page. A connection class appears only when the browser exposes that information.
The IP lookup is a direct request from your browser to ipify. That service can see the source IP needed to answer the request. Browser details are not included in that lookup.
When is it useful?
- Checking which public IP address an external service sees from your current network.
- Reviewing the browser name, display dimensions and language reported by this device.
How to use it
- Open the page and allow the public IP request to api.ipify.org to finish.
- Read the public IP card and compare it with the browser and screen details collected locally.
- If the IP service is unavailable, use “Try again”; local browser details remain visible while the lookup is unavailable.
Example
Input: Open the page in a browser with internet access.
Output: A public IP returned by ipify, plus the current browser, screen dimensions and language.
Who is it for?
- People checking the public IP visible to an online service
- Site owners reviewing the browser and display context of a test device
- Developers checking which browser details are exposed locally
Privacy and limitations
The page sends a public IP lookup request to api.ipify.org, which can observe the source IP address of that request. Browser name, screen dimensions, language and any available connection estimate are read locally and are not added to the lookup request. The page does not send these details to a Yula server.
Frequently asked questions
Where does the public IP result come from?
The page requests it from api.ipify.org. The service sees the source IP address of the request so it can return that address.
Does the IP service receive my screen size or browser language?
No. Those details are read locally by the page and are not included in the IP lookup request.
Why is the connection type unavailable?
Browsers do not all expose connection information. When the browser hides it, the page says it is unavailable instead of guessing.
Can I use this to find a precise physical location?
No. An IP address does not reliably identify a person or an exact location. This page does not perform geolocation.
